What is the correct NGK spark plug for my 1967 Triumph Tiger

I get two numbers...,
L6G or a L82C Champions

the L is the reach (1/2") and the numbers are the heat range.. On a Champion spark plug the lower the number the COLDER the spark plug.. the higher the number the hotter the spark plug,, If you look at the spark plug hole, you should be able to tell if the length of the threads in the head are about 1/2" deep..I would start with the L6 if you can get it.. if it runs without fouling.. keep running it.. if it fouls..looks black and sooty.. go to the L82.

A champion plug 12jyc what moter will it fit in

plugs for 350 block , 4 barrel carby 1967-19710 is j12yc
all plug descriptions have a series of letters number and letters..you can download the champion chart from the champion plug site
it works like--- this any plug that will screw in the hole will provide a spark
you have to measure the thread length in the head as the plug thread cannot be longer or shorter that that length
next the sealing is by taper or copper gasket so the plug will require the same as is in the head ( flat or taper ) whether the electrode protrudes or not depends on the application ( High speed engine etc)
there are factors that come into it as well like the heat range ---cold plugs for new engines and hot plugs for worn engines to burn the oil

NGK y-116v glow plug change over to Champion glow plug what part number???

very difficult to get a cross reference for champion
I did come across a code to explain the part number
it reads like this the Y denotes sheathed type earthed through the plug body
the first 1 is the thread diameter + 10 mm
the next 1 is the battery voltage ---4-12 volts
6 is the serial number
V denotes it is fast heat or rapid glo type
reference -ngktk.co.uk page 114
so if you can get a champion glo plug chart , you are looking for a glo plug that is earthed through the plug body, is 10 mm thread dia is for 12 volts ( serial no is optional , and is a fast or rapid glo type
take the glo plug to a diesel specialist repair shop and see if they can cross reference or have a plug that will do the job
consider it doesn't have to be champion brand
