Invalid serial number

Does the serial number on the disk match the one given on receipt/box? Sometimes people return stuff and get it in wrong box, especially if there's something wrong with the one they bought. It could also be registered to someone already, which also happens with used stuff. I'd contact seller, if possible, or look up the publisher for help tracing the problem.

Look on the bottom.

Typically the serial number is located on the back of the CD or DVD case, on the lower left hand section. In cases where the game was bundled by Gateway or purchased through Scholastic, the serial number may be found in one of three other locations:
The inside of the case
The back of the manual
On a separate piece of cardboard or paper
If your serial number is not printed in any of these locations, you may request a new serial number.

If you meet one of the following criteria, and you are within the 90 day warranty period, you can send a request to Electronic Arts for a replacement serial/registration number.

• Conditions
• The serial/registration number is illegible or missing characters.
• The serial/registration number is not printed on the lower left portion on the back of the jewel case, inside the jewel case, or on the back of the manual.
• A Technical Support Representative deems the serial/registration number provided with the game as invalid.

When sending a request for a replacement serial/registration number, please include the following:

• The original insert from the back of the jewel case displaying the invalid or misprinted number, or the manual displaying the invalid or misprinted number.

• First and Last Name

yes you can, you have the right to do it you pay for it, you may received notification in your laptop like invalid serial, but you can contact the trend micro company and they will give you another serial. just don't try using the same number in more pcs.
i had it install at all my 5 computers using the same serial and never got any notification. but i gave my code to a friend who tried 3 months later and it was invalid.
at longest you register with the same billing addres, name, you are good to go.

The software writers of DVDXCOPYPlat are telling you that the serial # you are entering is probably a pirated # or is invalid for the particular version of DVDXCOPY you are trying to install. Take these kinds of questions to the software writer as looking for a serial # here is a copyright violation and can lead to criminal investigation of you and us. Be aware if a suit is brought against Fixya, then all information about you will have to be forwarded to the litigators.

The PC serial number should be on a white bar code sticker on the back of the unit. Look for a sticker on the computer case.

You should end up with one long number like 356000000123456, no dashes, backslashes.
