Ps3 games not working

I have had my ps3 for four months i was playing call of duty and the sound went out and then the game froze ? now none of my games work anyone????? hellllpppppp?

Please try:

Reinstalling all your game data files
Reupdating your system firmware via USB Device (download the update from Playstation Website)
Restoring your system (don't forget to backup all your important files !!)

else,contact Sony support centre for possible hardware issues checking, certainly it's a problem with your blu-ray reader and, if it's not covered by warranty, you will need to buy a new reader

PS3 froze occassionally and now games won't load

I wish it was just the lens. However you as many of us, will need to replace the HDD (Hard Disc Drive) of the machine. And yes Sony will do that for the $.

Sounds like the laser just took a dive.

You can try updating the firmware to 2.76 but 95% of the time the laser needs to be swapped.

it sounds like a bad disc drive if under warranty sony wil fix if not u can find someone who can do it

a lot of problems with the new COD5...update firmware to2.52...cod5 is very cpu intensive..you may have overheated your CELL cpu...let it cool and try again
