You can not change the ring tone on the KX-T2378JXW. You can adjust the ring volume for either line by using the switches on the right hand side of the phone. Your choices are Off, Low and High for each line. See page 13 of the manual for a picture of the switches. One copy of the manual is here: http://www.panasonic.ae/en/manuals/kx-t2378.pdf . I think it can be done. Just exchange the phone for a 7633 and change out the TA for a TDA-50.
