I have 6 Kichler fans with remotes that are all the same. All the remotes work but the light on the remotes stays on on 4 and on the other 2 will vome on when button is pushed and then will fade to off. All the remotes work like the last two when new. What has changed?

SOURCE: wii remote

Greetings baggie bird,

You need to resynch your remote to your Wii console.

You hit the sync button under the battery cover on the remote, and then when the lights are flashing on the remote, you hit the sync button on the Wii. The synch button is located under the small cover to the left of the cd/dvd slot.

Thank you,

Dort

SOURCE: remote controlled ceiling fan

unplug the fan then remove the batteries from the remote then plug the fan back in and, reinstall the batteries; this resets the fan control

SOURCE: mika aire remote fan

Not sure if this addresses your problem or not, but with my Minka Aire ceiling fans, the fan has to be moving in order to change the fan direction. Turn the fan on (any speed works), then push the reverse button. The fan will speed up to max, then you'll hear the gears switching. The fan will slow to a stop, change directions and get back up to speed in the new direction.

SOURCE: I have a hunter remote

There is no way. Only the manufacturer can reconfigure thw remote. That is part of the defect of this product.

If it works fine, leave it and just continue to use it.

Cheers.

SOURCE: remote control wall unit does not turn on Monte

Are the manual switches on the fan in the 'on' position?

Select the maximum fan speed on the remote and then operate the manual switch on the fan. Set that to the highest speed then control it with the remote.

Same theory applies to the light.

If this is not the problem then the remote receiver on the fan is probably faulty.

Light will not stay on kichler fan

Hey there, how's it going? Do you know which model of ceiling fan you have? Whether you do or don't, that's OK - I was going to suggest checking out this site below which has Kichler fan manuals available. If you don't find the one you need, let us know and we'll take a look for you through some other sites.

I need remote control for for kichler fan model # 35005

THIS ITEM NUMBER IS INCORRECT. THERE SHOULD BE ATLEAST 1 MORE NUMBER FOLLOWED BY A COUPLE OF LETTERS. IF YOU CAN POSSIBLY FIND THE CORRECT NUMBER I CAN HELP BY GETTING YOU A PART NUMBER FOR THE CORRECT REMOTE THAT WILL BE NEEDED. PART NUMBERS ON FANS ARE CONSISTENTLY FOUND ON THE CANOPY, THIS IS THE PART WHERE YOUR FAN MOUNTS TO THE CEILING. I CALLED OUR REP AT KICHLER AND SHE SAID THIS WAS AN INCOMPLETE NUMBER. HOW OLD IS THE FAN IN QUESTION? ITS POSSIBLE IT MAY BE DISCONTINUED IS WHY WE CANT COME UP WITH ANYTHING.

How to reverse kichler ceiling fan, UC7206T

Stock Kichler ceiling fan c. 2006, works with replacement remote control 337001WH hand-held unit from Amazon 2013. Started running backwards when two remotes were activated at the same time by accident. Random button pushing on two remotes simultaneously got it to go back to forward. (Apparently original remote hand-held transmitter had forward/reverse setting, but the substitute 337001WH transmitter doesn't. When two transmitters run at the same time, the fwd/rev code may be decoded in the collisions at the receiver. Thank goodness!)
