SOURCE: gas tamk removal john deere 115

I had the same thing happen. I got the tank out, but it wasn't easy. Take out the bolts out that hold the rear end on. Take off the two springs that support the seat. Take out the battery and the battery tray. Take out the 6 bolts that hold the black cowling and the front of the green platform to the frame. This will allow you to lift the seat platform far enough off the rear end to allow the tank to be pulled out through the side. You also have to remove the metal bracket which holds the front of the tank and has caused the tank to leak in the first place. New tank is $56.00 not installed. I used a soldering gun and melted the plastic back together. I think it will hold quit a while. I know this is a little sketchy, but It worked for me.

SOURCE: hello i have a john deere weed eater #ut20810 and

If you will look at the carburetor very close you should be able to find a brand name such as walbro or zama. most all weedeaters will have one of these two on it. find name of it out and take your bulb to a local small engine shop and they should have one in stock.this should not cost more than 2-3 dollars .

SOURCE: I have a John Deere hand held blower. I can't get

Your adjustments to the carburetor may make it worse.
Plus if the fuel mixture is over 30 old, I would replace it.
Manufacturers have told us this year any gas over 30 days old is considered bad gas and needs to be replaced. I would try some fresh gas(from the station) and some new 2 cycle oil at 40:1 Ratio(3.2 ozs 2 cycle oil to 1 gal of gas).
Good day.

Out of Diesel

This particular JD engine has an individual fuel pump for each cylinder. The injectors, fuel lines, and pumps are not accessible from outside of the engine. There is a hand primer pump built into the top of the fuel filter. Start by removing the rubber outlet line from the filter base and pump the primer pump until fuel come out of the filter base outlet. Ounce fuel comes out of filter reconnect the line and continue pumping by hand until the pump button feels solid, then crank engine until it starts. This works better if a helper is available to operate the starter while continuing to pump the hand primer. This is normally all that is needed after running out of fuel.

If fuel does not come out of fuel filter base there may foreign material inside of primer pump. Primer pump can be disassembled and cleaned. If fuel comes out of filter, primer pump become feels solid but engine does not start the fuel control rack inside of engine may be sticking in the off position. This may sometimes be overcome by clicking the key switch from off to on rapidly. If not you may have to have your dealer remove the governor cover to free the rack.

Tractor is not getting fuel pass the fuel fi;ter...new filter

Check the fuel lines, fuel pre-filter[screener] and check valve, all of these are ahead of the fuel filter. Also if the fuel filter is not the problem then the primer pump on top of the filter housing may have a leak or debris in the diaphragm so that you can not get the fuel to completely fill the filter.Once the filter is full, full fuel out of the bleed screw on the filter housing, then you need to turn on the key and keep on pumping the hand primer. If it still will not start then get a 11/16 wrench and crack two lines on the injection pump.Crank over the tractor until it sounds like it may go,tighten the lines, the crank again and it should start.
