Check inside the door on the bellows gasket to make sure the inlet area (normally at the 10 o'clock position) is properly positioned around the water inlet, sometimes these work themselves off the inlet nozzle and can casue a leak when the washer is filling up.

Also, carefully run your hand around the bellows gasket to see if you can find any small holes that cold be letting water leak out. You'll need a flashlight to make this easier. It is hardly ever the hinges that causes a leak since the hinges are mounted outside of the door seal gasket (bellows gasket) and aren't ever exposed to the water.

Water does not drain

Is the drain line clear? Also sounds like time on water inlet is running to long. Front loaders don't use that much water.

LG front loading washing machine. SEVERE water leak from front door. Gasket has been checked and is OK. Seems there is quite a bit of 'play' (i.e. slack or free movement) in the front door since if you...

This is a very common problem with the LG front loaders, and some other front loaders for that manner. There was a few recalls on them and some parts that were supposed to fix the issue. Even if the gasket looks ok i would replace it, as they have updated the design of the gaskets to fix issues on models that were having issues leaking. Most of the time its just a bad gasket and you cant really do anything other then replace it. Front load washers are about the worst appliance made today in my opinion, the repair shops around here are always full of broken and leaking front loaders. I have fixed quite a few myself, some work ok after the repair, some fail again in a matter of months, its a real duck shoot on them. The biggest failure rate though is the gaskets! And most of the time they look ok but still leak like a screen door.

I have front loader MFW9700 Maytag washer. Water

Check the door seal for tears and the drain boot from tub to drain boot for anything that might have put a hole in like a piece of metal from an under wire bra which front loads will spin so fast that the wires come out of the bras.

My inglis front loader washer is leaking at bottom of the door....inside rubber area near leak feels gummy....any advice??

Scrub the glass on your door and the rubber boot. This works in almost every case. The washer gets a build up of scum on these parts and doesn,t allow a tight seal. In rare instances you have to replace the rubber boot. Good Luck, Appliance Specialists.

Whirlpool fron loader washer leaks at the door

The water should be able to come up to the door level without leaking. Chances are you have build up on the bottom side of the glass on your door. If so take a razor blade and scrape the build up off. Your door will quit leaking.

My LG front loader is washer leaking water.

Could be the bladder from the drum to the door of the door seal. It could also be the drain pump hose.

LG WM2688HM front loader is leaking water around the door seal

this may be coming from the soap dispenser and running down round the door way and to the bottom- investigate that first. otherwise the seal may be worn/ damaged and needs replacing.
