SOURCE: How do you manually program
As evidenced by the lack of a numerical keyboard, your scanner is an oddball that does not allow direct keyboard programming of a known frequency. Rather, you can only transfer a displayed frequency from the SCAN mode or SEARCH mode into the PRIVATE bank. Details for doing this can be found on pages 24 through 26 of the Uniden owners manual.
