Touch screen keeps freezing

Does the screen also freeze if you are using a mouse instead of touching the screen? If the freezing still occurs, then the problem is NOT the touchscreen. If it works OK with the mouse then you may need to have the touchscreen repaired. If freezing occurs even with the mouse the cause may be one of several. Right-click on the Windows taskbar and select Task Manager. The task Manager box tells you if your processor is working very hard (any reading that continues to hover near 100% indicates some program or process is overworking your system. Task Manager also shows a list of processes and how much cpu % each process is using. Another possibility is that to run everything you want may require more RAM memory. In general, 4GB or RAM is enough, but if you're running a lot of programs/apps at the same time then you may wish to boost your total amount of RAM to 8GB or more.

Screen freezing touch screen not working samsung pixon

The problem is a faulty contact from the touchscreen leading to the phone board.
On the right side of the phone were the volume buttons are, under the touchscreen is the screen's contact. Try "detaching the screen's face a little from the phone body exactly at the volume down button(using your fingernail or something) and see if the touchscreen is responding in anyway. Now try to pull a little bit the touchscreen frame from the rest of the chassis and see if it works.
Be careful though not to totally destroy your phone...

My samsung pixon keeps freezing. I can turn it on

This is courtesy of Helifix from Handcellphone.com...

Hello Guys. I have the same problem and I found out the solution. The problem is a faulty contact from the touchscreen leading to the phone board. To be short: on the right side of the phone were the volume buttons are, under the touchscreen is the screen's contact. Try "detaching the screens face a little from the phone body exactly at the volume down button(using ur fingernail or something) and see if the touchscreen is responding in anyway. My phone has a bad contact there, and in normal mode all is frozen. Now if I try to pull towards me, the touchscreen frame from the rest of the chassis, only a mm SURPRISE!! My touchscreen is working. IF this is your case too...I suggest get a screw-driver and open the chassis, and trying to make the connection permanent, somehow. I haven't done this yet, but will do it today. If anyone is interested I could post the results:) PS: you can send it back to warranty of a repair phone shop, only to force you to buy a new touchscreen and pay for the repairs, on a 99% working phone, with a faulty contact. The choice is yours:)

It works first thing in the morning but as the day goes on it freezes up

The unit isn't really freezing up.... you can verify this by pressing the on/off button quickly. If you hear a beep, it's not locked up. The touchscreen is intermittent. Please check your units serial # to see if it begins with a "12P", "14V" or "143". These units have a style of touchscreen that is known to fail, even without any physical damage to the glass.
