Hi,
Our Vulcan Quasar 40 was merrily working until suddenly it started playing up. The first thing I noticed was that the top of the heater was getting hot, and then after a few minutes the entire unit would stop. I assume the unit is stopping due to the thermostat, however what I did notice is that no air is coming out through the air deflectors.
I am guessing it may be blocked or similar so heat is going up into the heater and due to the thermostat is quickly just turning itself off and then on again. Any thoughts on how to fix this?
Hi the problem you have is your heater is cutting out due to the over temp switch getting to hot the reason for this is that your fan is not working thus not enough air flow is getting through the heat exchanger to keep it cool
your heater is designed to not exceed a certain temprature so as not to become a fire risk
to solve your problem you will need to replace your fan
this will solves your problem
