Early check in? is it possible to get on board at head of line?

If your brakes have sensors, it maybe an early warning that the linings are getting worn

I think the picture tube is gone replace it as early as possible.

Please check the connections , check the leads from the DVD to the TV, use the line out from DVD to the line in the TV using the video and audio inputs. If this wont work then in most cases when the CD does not play it is possible that the optical head is a suspect. Sometimes it might pick up ordinary audio CD but will not play other formats. This indicates that the optical head is weak and so there is no detection or scanning of the CD . If the optical is working the tracks will be read immediately but with no scanning the laser head can be defective.

The main motor will not work in some cases as unless the tracks are read the drive motor will not work with signal from the processor.
Sometimes certain cleaner disks will not be tracked to run for cleaning as it will not be read and so will reject. Hence it is ideal to manually clean the laser head eye using a cleaning swap /cotton bud with gentle pressure on the lens eye.
If there is no result then watch if the CD spins or tries to spin. If so the board seems to work unless a test is taken on the main board but the possibility of a defective optical head can be the suspected fault.
If any of the above seems otherwise we must recheck with possibilities of a malfunction of the main processor board

Take a length of about 6 foot of line, kink it in the middle and pass this through the hole in the spool. Wind the two lengths of line around the spool in their own divisions and in the same direction. The direction of wind is embossed in the reel and the line should be wound tightly and held all the while. When you have about 6-8 inches left in your hand, bring the cover up to the spool and carefully pass the two ends of the line through the holes, push the cover all the way over while pulling on the two pieces of line and ensuring that the lines stay on their own side of the division on the spool. Fit and tighten the bump nut and trim the lines to just about the cut-off blade.
The lines should trail out of the holes in the direction of the machine's rotation. Try cut with the tip of the line as much as possible. Cutting nearer the drum flexes the line and will lead to early breaking of the lines. Run the motor at a constant speed and rather move the cutting head in and out of the weeds to affect a deeper cut

Sounds like you have eather a small hole in head gasket. or a crack in head. White smoke mean's water in exauest.Try a bottle of liquid glass stop leak first if not to bad . this works good. if not to big of hole. good luck to you.If need any further help just let me know.

That board isn't on the MSI officially supports Win7 list. You can try using the generic (if any) drivers in Win7, try the Vista drivers from MSI, or check with the chipset manufacturer (appears to be VIA) for that board.

There is only one option but to change the board as these boards are difficult except if you have a possible power fault , as the board is filled with epoxy , so difficult to service..

Unfortunately it sounds like the wide format printer you have will need some hardware replacement, it sounds like some part of the ink control has malfunctioned =(. Very difficult to say what you have going on, you sadly will have to call Roland to have them diagnose it. Their number is:

Part 1: No (to my knowledge)
Part 2: Test equipment to do that test would be expensive to have for one fix.
Part 3: If you can identify the controller board as being bad, then yes. If you can't identify, then why change it?

After all is said and done, is it worth fixing? I fixed a printer for my office, it took a long time to find the replacement parts, but I got a $600 printer for about $140 in parts and labor... so in this case, it was worth it. Good luck.
