SOURCE: Washer won't drain

Mustache, sounds like you have a broken lid switch. No spin, no drain usually a sign of this. Check to see if the actuator is making the lid switch, or the switch itself is bad. Part number for the switch is 8318084. Catriver, post back.

Most washers have a small screen at the water inlet valve. They can be accessed simply by revoving the hose from the back side of the washer, using a small screw driver you can carefully remove the screens and clean them out under a faucet. That may be all that is wrong.

SOURCE: WHirlpool Waser model LSR8133HQ0 - tries to fill for rinse cycle

hellow my name is joyce and It sounds like you have a issue with your cut off valve that controls the water flow to your machine in between cycles, this is controled by your timer switch you may want to call technichian to repair. sounds like the only problem you have with the timer is on the rinse cycle not the wash cycle, but it defently needs to be fixed. if I can help you find a repair person please let me know.

thanks you and let me know if I can further assist you.

My Roper heavy duty 8 cycle 2 speed combination washer does not fill up on rinse cycle

when in rinse washers use just cold water so clothes don't wrinkle, try this, set the washer to just cold, start it and see if it fills or fills slowly if so you have a bad water valve on washer or no cold water going to washer.

Roper top loading washer RTW440VQ1 will not stop filling up

The pressure switch, also called the water level switch, is what control the amount of water goes in the machine, If your machine is constantly filling to the overflow point, then that is your problem. Now, if water is going in and the level is staying the same then your machine drain line is lower than the pump and your siphoning out the water as it goes in. Pull the drain up a little a that should fix the problem.

Washer doesn't fill with water and begin wash cycle. I can hear it instantly draining out rather than fill, and has ran my well dry. We replaced the water pump a month ago, and it washed a few loads of...

Sounds like siphoning. This can happen if your drain pipe is too low and you run the drain hose right into it, or if there isn't any kind of air gap between the drain hose and pipe. Usually it shows up when trying to fill for the rinse cycle - it drains as fast as it fills. Or it might not fill at all. Order a "siphon break kit". They're cheap and easy to install

Roper washer leaks when filling

It's in the drain hose somewhere, during the fill the water gets as deep in the drain hose as it does in the washer, during the wash the pump runs in reverse keeping the water level in the hose low, during the drain the hose is filled again.
Prop the washer up in front on a couple bricks or boards, start putting in water until it starts to leak and take a peak under the machine.

Roper washer fills with water continuously

Your inlet valve is defective, can be easily changed. Approach your dealer with your model number he will direct you to the spares shop, or tell you where you can get it. Or google 'roper washing machine spares'

Error H F

this code will set for two reasons if the washer doesent start filling after 30 seconds or fills to10.5 gallons in eight minutes and the pressure sensor hasnt triped so time it and post a reply to your message letting me know which condition exist make sure your drain hose isnt too deep in your drain pipe as this will siphon water out as it fills and mke the washer think the second condition exists consult your owners manual for proper drain hose instalation
