How to stop my used Sony DPP FP90 printer to stop paper jaming and print the whole page.

Since it is small take it back to where you get your cartridges and ask them to replace it for you! You will need a new cartridge anyway.

Your paper size may be samller then the size of the image you are printing. Try changing the size of the image or size of paper to match.

Are you using a large image size, try smaller size file..Its a data processing problem. clear the memory of the printer.If persists it could be a lose data cable in the printer if the printer has had a knock

I would turn the printer upside down and shake it . I have a feeling a little piece of something got in the top of it. I have had that happen to my fax machine . Good luck , Hope this helps . You can also look at
www.utube.com and put in repair or paper jam ( then your printer name and model ) . See what comes up ? Sometimes it does not have to be your exact print , maybe HP , but will solve your problem if you look at that one .

You may use your memory stick option to print. I means you shall copy your pictures to a memory stick card. Insert in into the printer. And print directly without your MAC. I use Sony DPP-FP70. It works.

the printer needs a proper servicing and dust cleaning done.as there is a sensor in the printer which detects whether there is paper ,or no paper in the paper tray ,that sensor is moved from its orignal position so this problem is coming.but servicing and cleaning will help.

These are following cases for this symptom.

If the access indicator flashes in green:

The data size of the image is large and it takes longer to process it for printing. Printing will start as soon as the data processing finishes.

If the paper error indicator flashes on the LCD:

The paper is jammed. Turn off the printer and turn it on again, take out the paper tray, and then remove the jammed paper from the paper outlet. If you cannot remove the jammed paper, consult with your Sony dealer or service facility.

If no indicator is lit or flashing:

The thermal head may be overheated. Leave the printer until the head cools down and the printer resumes printing.
