TV 32LK330-UB can`t turn off comes on when I plug it in ? also has a blinking box saying the channel map is empty do you want to start auto tuning yes or no. I can`t do any with the remote. ? just keeps blinking.

You must auto tune the TV so it knows which channels it can receive and which it gets no data from. The menu should have this setting. Make sure your cable box or antenna is hooked up to the TV before you begin the auto tune. Also be aware that an antenna will no longer receive analog broadcasts due to the digital switch in 2009.

Check that you have the arial plugged in correct input otherwise it will not tune up.

Have seen similar in sets with blow projector bulb.
Suggest obtain owner's manual and follow the steps.

the "auto tune" is worthless. Don't worry about it. If you have cable it is probably the reason it does not complete. The channels you are getting are all there is........sadly

Are you trying to get over the air channels? IF you are does your TV have the digital tuner on analog? TV went digital and if you have an analog tuner will need either e new TV or converter box.

If you have a cable box and your cable is attached with coax to the antenna or cable input you're probably receiving everything on Ch 3 or 4. If you don't have a cable box, then make sure the input / source is set to cable and not antenna.

It may have defaulted to the wrong input when it turned back on. If you press the input button a few times it may cycle through to the one that has the channel listing.

In order for the TV to work with the cable box by using a piece of coax and tuning the TV to channel 3, you must make sure the TV is in "Cable" mode on the tuner and not "AIR or Antenna" the frequency maps are different between these types of service and channel 3 cable will not be the same as channel 3 on Air or UHF/VHF.

Often there is an auto program feature on TV's that will "scan" for all available channels, and this should select the proper input type.

unfortunately tramission has been changed and certain boxes have an auto tune process as a loop. the box will work but you will have to deselect it everytime from time to time. i have the same problem with the same model. idt59g i believe. its down to the local argos with another 20 pounds to get a newer one im afraid.
i did try to turn off the auto tune option but have had no luck
