I downloaded my video to my pc, but the sound did not come through.

If you can hear sound in all other video files except this specific one then it could be the problem of the downloaded video file.

It sounds like you need to update your video codecs.

Use a program called 'GSpot' and it will tell you what codec you need to play your video file. Then simply download that video file from the net.

Make certain you didn't hit the mute button,double click on the speaker and look on the bottom of the window that opens.
some times driver just get corrupted, update your sound drivers...of course check the easy stuff first, wires,plugged and snugged, Green socket on the card.(or motherboard)
to reinstall the sound driver should take two to three minutes...

maybe you should convert the format of your video, so that you can get the sound of your video.

Your PC might not have an appropriate audio decoder for your video files. You may try downloading and installing an MPEG-2 codec (such as this one http://www.softpedia.com/get/Multimedia/Video/Codec-Packs-Video-Codecs/Mpeg-AudioVideo-Filter.shtml) to get it working.
