Your question is less detailed. If the keys is broken,replace with new.
If you mean "How to",then you need the service manual.
Outputs problem,usually causes by output IC (or input IC) is defects.
It also can cause by AD/DA IC is error.

As the sp 606 is an older machine, it was designed for xp compatibility.

You can try to run it in compatibility mode, but there are no guarantees that this will work.

There may be a windows 7 driver on the internet for this device, but I have searched and have been unable to find one as of yet.
I did however find a vista driver on the Roland website, it might work for you, as alot of devices that get connected to win7 machines use vista drivers to make them work.

the unit will only draw the amps it needs, at that low of amps it should not even turn on.
However the voltage is the question YOU CAN NOT USE A POWER SUPPLY THAT HAS MOVE VOLTAGE.
THINGS TO CONSIDER;
is the unit AC or DC
are you applying the right voltage (9VDC 1000MA) (9VAC 1000MA)
if it's AC you can not use DC and vice versa

I don't have the exact schematic... however sometimes they have RF bypass capacitors to ground on the balanced input lines and one side gets shorted. The schematic I do have is for an AC100. It shows a rather unconventional input circuit. You can download it here and it MIGHT be close to your unit:

I note that this unit does NOT have Phantom power so you CANNOT use a condenser type mic with it unless you use a preamp with Phantom power... Maybe that is the problem?
