I have a 50 inch Samsung plasma tv and when I connect the hdmi cable there is a error message that states "unsupported mode". I tried a different cable and still the same message. I connected the ps3 to a different tv (42 inch Vizio plasma) and it worked normally. I'm thinking I might need to adjust something on my tv. Please help!
When you hit the power button from the console, hod it until it beeps at you twice and it will reset the video settings. I read this on a post from gamespot. I hope it works.
I did necesary changes on my ps3 on video settings and and audio output. I want to have better clarity on my 42" lcd other than 480 resolution. When i switch it to HDMI seting and automatic on my ps3 it reads "A connection error with HDMI device has occurred. Check that the HDMI device is connected and is turned on." If i disconnect the Audion Connectors (red and white) to use only the HDMI the screens go blank. Help me understand why Please.
