Using the search feature on the support page, I found three models which start 308-1414. Two of these differ in the color of the case of the weather station. Hover over the picture of any of these weather stations and click on the More button to go to their product page. My 1510-IT came with a faulty battery cover top for the rain guage. There should be a metallic clip mounted to the cover to tie the 2 batteries together electrically. Mine had nothing there. I soldered a wire between the 2 batteries and used some cardboard under the cover to make sure the batteries were pushed down into their holder. Problem solved!
I can't imagine this is systemic but it happened to me.
