Good Day Bobby,
Disconnect All Wires ,Try To Crank Engine Do You Get Spark At the Plugs?. Yes /No
If No You Need To Find The Fault On The Engine Ignition System
The Colour Of The Wire to Kill The Engine Ignition System Is Black With Yellow Line.

It's a 1987 Nissan truck Z24 engine (electro injection), it has 8 spark plugs 10 wires from distributor cap. recently my vehicle was opened and someone decided to rip out a few wires from cap to s. plugs....

What's up Ogtajiboy,I have a 85 Nissan 720 4x4 2.4 engine with a Weber carb,had her since 1992 and it's mint.Here's a picture of your firing order,where are you at?Since your spark plug wires may have been crossed up,it may have ruined your plugs,I always use NGK spark plugs,on the intake side it uses,BPR6ES and the exhaust side uses BPR5ES.Advance Auto Parts has them. I get mine from Ebay,they are cheaper.The gap is.032.Need more help,let me know,here's a video of my Nissan.

What you have is a bunch of parts that you need. There are very few repair shops that would consider the repair. Being an employee many years ago of such parts....Try googling, Antique motor parts/ johnson. or elaborate as OMC / Evinrude/Johnson. You can still find a parts guy that can help you (very rare) search the web and hope it turnes out Okay! BeeCee

Please help i want to fish i have a late 80s early 90s johnson 70 hp outboard motor i purchased used the control wiring plug was cut off the motor and the controls i purchased the plug was cut from them...

with outboards when they fail usually you are a long way from help, my honest advice is to get them soldered and sealed by someone whose expertise can really be relied on or as i have found you will be fixing it 'on the go ' to many times, though if you look up the OMC ( they make Johson )you should find the books & manuals they recomend , Haynes are great manuals,( take a photo of it as they change schemes a lot and this will narrow down the vintage )

Does an 85 johnson outboard motor 15 hp have

Not ignition points as a set of breaker points as we know it.The timing is set from magnets set under the flywheel.Hope this helps
