Why does my next book lag so much its only 4 days old and i cant get it to stop lagging are they all like this or should i return it and get a new one or is there a way to fix it?

that depends on how much RAM you have in your next book. Is it a Windows tablet? If it is I would not open too much application at the same time. Limit yourself from opening up more than 3 because Tablet are not design like a normal Desktop and have less computing power. They are convenient but a desktop still have much more power when it comes to multi tasking.

How much more efficent is this than my 40 yr old janitrol 125000 btu beast

not knowing what you are replacing it with, it is hard to give a reasonable answer ( old sealed units against split system converter ac units )
However if you work along these lines, you will come to a logical decision
First off the old machines had the compressor operation tied to the thermostat setting so the compressor ran full blast until the room cooled to the set temperature. Then it stopped and remain stopped until the room heated up. At this point the compressor restarted and that is the point the the most power is consumed
again it runs full blast until the room again cools and switches off
So you can see that you have a varying room temperature and high energy consumption on start up
Now compare that to inverter units
The compressor is running all the time ( no high energy start ups every 10 minutes or so) but the compressor becomes less efficient as the room cools down
Still running at full rpms but the controls reduce the compressing action--less power to run the compressor--so there is a reduction in power used
The temperature variation is reduced because as the room warms a bit the compressor pumps a bit more gas and doesn't start at full load as per the old unit
Next , the latest units have better temperature / humidity recognition controls so they can be set at night so a room maintains an ambient temperature /humidity so that as the night gets cooler and the air drier you don't wake up freezing
It will even get to the point where you wonder if the unit is working
Lastly you can run the unit at a much higher setting ( 27 Degrees c instead of 24 or less and have the same comfort level as at 24-25 degrees c)
lastly warranty is for 2 years at best and parts will be available for the next 10 years against parts for your old unit

It drains very slowly and it makes a high pitch sound when it does spin...sometimes you hear something tapping or slapping, likesomething is stuck.

To me it sounds like you have something stuck in your pump. I would check that first. I had the high pitched sound during the spin cycle on my machine and it turned out to be the drum bearings. That part used to be covered by a 10 year warranty but not anymore. My machine was less than ten years old and it cost me around 300.00 to fix it. I have paid for my machine 3 times over in repairs. My next washer will NOT be HE and probably an old school Speed Queen

Microwave oven fuse blows

If your microwave oven is 7 years old or less, the too likely problems are the magnetron and the inverter board, if older check for a shorted high voltage capacitor and the high voltage diode, sometimes cracks and shorts.

The electrical outlet is on. The microwave is completly dark. It's 16 years old. What should i do? Fix it or buy a new one.

After 16 years, I should think you had your money's worth from this machine.
There are a few arguments for fixing it, if it's repairable, but a new one will be more powerful while being more efficient too. (use less electric)
Less radiation leakage too.. (pacemaker exposure?)

Perhaps you should first try shopping around to see if you find one that you like, and that fits in the space you have for it, etc. If you buy a new one, get a good one. Don't go cheap.
If one seems to make good sense to you, then buy it. If nothing looks good to you then find a repair shop to take old one to.

Why would you keep old one? Well first of all, they don't make them like they used to. Lot of new ones are noisy and rattle a lot. Don't last nearly as long. Many new ones have problems early.

Old ones are lower power, which is slower, BUT food heats more evenly because of it. Less prone to exploding food.

Fuel gage does not work at all. What steps would

Man, I love this car when they first came out. Friend of mine had one with turbo with Lotus suspension/handling. Being 1988 would not surprised me if the AUTOMETER FUEL LEVEL SENDING UNIT is bad, it does not matter if its has only 10k miles because of the year. The car is 21 year old and very seldom any electrical system that sit in the chemicals or petroleum that long will last without developing any corrosion or rust. Keep in mind, being 21 years old car with only 60k miles, is telling me its has been sitting for a long time without being driven. Your Isuzu should have 252k miles if it had been driven 12k per year although it average 2800 miles per year. I have seen a 5 year old gas tank that has been left sitting half empty, it has so much rust and corrosion in the tank you would not believed because of moister. This is a true fact, If better to leave the gas tank completely full or completely empty sitting and will have less chance developing corrosion. First, Check all fuses to make sure you getting power to the gages. The only way to test the unit is to test the unit itself. There is plastic connector on top of the tank you can test by unplugging the connector and using the 12v light tester to see if you getting power from main source. My sense tells me the AUTOMETER FUEL LEVEL SENDING UNIT is bad and need replacing. It will cost you 38 bucks auto parts warehouse.com, very easy to replace. If you have plans to keep that car, I would get your self Hayne's auto repair books for 20buck to keep for the next repair. Great book will teaches you alot about the car and the heart of it. Good luck, hope this help some

JVC Everio GZ-360BU Camera Temperature is Too Low - Keep Power On??

I'm an English guy with the same problem... What you do is keep the power on for a long time, or you charge it up with the charger. Trust me. However, it is very rare for this to occur. There should be a message saying: "Temperature is too low, keep power on." There should be another message reading: "Turn off power and turn on again to check if camera is fully-functional. Thanks for giving me something to do while X-Plane downloads on my Mac OS X.
