Question about Electrical Supplies
(1) If the accelerator pedal is lifted quickly, the engine will not continue to rise after reaching the maximum speed, and the accelerator pedal or the arm will be stuck.
(2) If the accelerator pedal is lifted quickly, the engine speed cannot be reduced or immediately extinguished, usually the governor is faulty.
(3) If the engine speed continues to rise after picking up the accelerator pedal, the fuel pump is faulty.
(4) If the oil supply system is good, there is extra fuel or oil in the cylinder.

Since we dont know what genset you have for sure ill suggest to check your carb linkages for binding.
