i don't know of any machines that can't free motion quilt. you will need to either drop the feed dogs or buy an attachment to cover them, then buy a quilting foot that fits your machine .

All wireless security motions have a 3 min delay built into them. This means that whether the alarm is set or not when the motion detector picks up motion it shuts down for 3 min and will not pick up motion. This is done to conserve battery power. So I always advise customers to arm the system and stay away from the motion for 3 min total. example: 60 sec to arm system + 2min wait time. then try to trigger motion. sounds like you have a gear problem, I suggest going to dewaltservicenet.com and typing in yoru model number so you can download a schematic for this tool. you have a problem in the gearcase area.

the circular thing that lets it move freely probably cracked, making it harder to move. i had to buy a new controller because of this reason.
