You may have a sticky door switch. Try a simple "slamming" of the door, don't over do it, just a little harder than normal. This may help pop the plunger in the switch back up. The switch could have also become loose and moved out of its adjustment.
If this does not help, a technician should save you time and money with this sometimes perplexing problem.

SOURCE: LG LMVM2075 Microwave Control panel does not work
The keypad has failed and it is available as a part of a new outer door panel,
whose part number is 383EW1A130E for $103.19 plus shipping.
You can get it from Encompass here
or you can call them toll-free at 866-779-5835.
For disassembly info, you can see the service manual at our site:
http://www.microwavedisplay.com/lmvm2075sb_sw_sm.pdf
It does not contain part numbers, so you will need to contact Encompass.
Direct spraying of cleaners on the keypad and steam from the cooktop can damage the controls.
I always recommend that you spray non-ammonia cleaner on a soft cloth (not a paper towel which can scratch) and gently wipe
the keypad.
And I always recommend that you use the vent fan whenever you're cooking on the stove top to keep heat, steam, and grease out
of the controls and door panels.
