What could be stopping the water in the holding tank not going in the steam tank on my Perfect Care Iron ?

most likely is mineral build up. drain out the water and replace with white vinegar, warm up the iron and allow it to sit until you see steam (several minutes to half an hour) if no steam, replace the iron.

How to put water in T-Fal Latitude 30 travel iron

Hello -

You can find and download the user manual for the Tefal Latitude 30 travel iron from this Tefal web page:
https://www.tefal.com/instructions-for-use/Products/Linen-Care/Dry-iron-and-Travel-iron/csc/DryIronAndTravelIron

Scroll down on that web page to near the bottom. There you should see a heading for Travel Iron and an icon and link for Latitude. Click or tap on the Latitude link.

That will bring you to the Tefal web page for Tefal LATITUDE User Manuals:
https://www.tefal.com/instructions-for-use/Products/Linen-Care/Dry-iron-and-Travel-iron/Travel-iron/LATITUDE/csp/2800000013

On that web page in the section headed Instructions and Manual (with an icon for Warranty Information) you should see a search box with a drop down menu and the direction "Choose a language for displaying the instructions and user manuals:" Click or tap on the downward pointing arrow on the right end of the search box and choose the language you want for the manual.

A Download Manual icon will appear. Click or tap on it.

Then, you will see the PDF document for the user manual. You will need Adobe Acrobat Reader (free) software.

The first illustration of the iron you should see in the manual indicated where the Water Tank Filler cap is located near the tip of the iron handle. The water tank is within the handle.

Best wishes.

How do i descale it

Fill the tank with regular malt vinegar and leave it overnight, Was out in the morning and should have removed most of the scale. Then mix two parts vinegar and one part water and fill the tank again. Heat the iron up to max setting and steam through to remove any small deposits in the steam holes. Repeat if needed.

Hi, I have been given a Euro-Pro Ironing Solution EP1005 without a manual where do I put water in for steam & how does the suction work Marj

Hi,
I don't know that system, but you're real lucky, that type of irons are fantastic! Most such have something that looks like a big black knob (you can see the same type e.g. on steam cleaners). You screw it counter-clockwise until it opens. Then you fill it up with water through the little hole. That type of valve is the one I have seen the most on pro systems, while my own home type generator iron only has a tank you simply pull off so you can fill it under the faucet. I have no idea how the suction works, except for it being real great as it helps draw the steam through the garment and away, so it gets dry instantly. I'm sure it also allows you to use a lot more steam, e.g. on tough wrinkles...

Why don't you go to the Euro-Pro website, mail them and ask for their help in getting a manual for it? Or maybe you already tried that? If you look around, you might be able to get a downloadable manual from one of the many manual sellers online...

Good luck!

How to put water in the Tefal pro 2500

This type of iron is called a steam station iron.
The box is the water tank and it is this that you need to fill with water. You should be able to find a small spout on the water tank in order to fill it. These irons produce a huge amount of steam and should make the ironing a breeze once you get used to it.

My husband threw away the opereating instructions for our iron.

SELF CLEANINGIt is important to “Self Clean” the iron at least every two weeksto remove scale, calcium, etc. The harder the water, the more often the iron should be self cleaned.1. Set the variable steam control dial to any steam position.2. Fill the water tank up to the “MAX” level.3. Stand the iron on its heel. Plug the iron into the electrical outlet.4.Press the electronic temperature control button until you get the “MAX” temperature setting on the display panel and wait until the iron heats up and temperature setting light stops flashing.5. Turn the variable steam control dial all the way to the right to the self-cleaning position and hold the iron horizontally over the sink (Fig. 8).6. Boiling water and steam will now be ejected from the holes in the soleplate. The impurities and scale are washed away with it. 7. Move the iron back and forth as this happens.8. If there is any water left in the water tank after the iron stops steaming, just empty the remaining water in a sink following the instructions for emptying the iron. 9.Turn the variable steam control dial to the “0” position when the water tank is empty.10.Place the iron back upright on its heel to cool down before storing.

Instructions for use DiLonghi StiroMeglio compact iron (steam boiler Iron)

Is a long story but i make short.Don`t be afraid to leave your iron on.Is common to water tank iron to get working in more then 5-10 minutes. That machine are really safe since they do have more then 1 thermostat to control the water pressure.
How they work is pretty easy. The boil the water to a certan temperature and you know after certan F. the water become steam generatin pressure and steam. The thermostat control the heater and the electroswitch release the steam

If your in not making any steam after 5-10 minutes make sure you hear the electroswitch working.Sometimes they get cloght and even if the boil is under the pressure you can not get any steam at all
Good Luck
