On my rascal taxi 4 scooter the circuit breaker has not popped back out we replaced a fuze that had gone but it's still not popping out.help please

in rascal245 Circuit breaker is located within battery packs.

hi Hazel, this can be one of two things ,,,, 1. the controller has gone faulty

2. it's a loose connection to the controller...normally the long block, however if anyone decides to look at it for you please make sure the battery pack has been remove, I don't recommend this however that's your decision,...

According to the Owners Manual: Circuit Breaker (Reset Button)
Your scooter is fitted with the latest in electronic controls that are programmed to protect
the electrical system from abnormal overloads. Provided for extra protection is a circuit
breaker, located on the battery pack. Should there be a situation where your scooter stops
for no apparent reason, please check that the circuit breaker has not popped.

If you have misplaced your Owners Manual, here is a link to one. It may not be the exact model you have (as, your Model # was not recognized), but they all work pretty much the same way.

You must find the reason the main breaker is popping ...

I'd start by unplugging everything and remove all breakers. Turn the main on ... does it pop? If it pops here look between the breaker panel and the end of your cord. Turn the power off - reinstall the first breaker - turn power back on. What happens ... keep doing this until the main or individual breaker pops - investigate that circuit to find your short.

If you get all breakers back in with out popping anything ... start plugging stuff back in. Something is shorting somewhere.
