My infinity dryer is displaying an r8 code and only runs for about a minute then stops. I have done reset codes about 3 times and still not helping.

PAUSE? If you stop the dryer before it is done completing the dryer cycle you have paused it.

The type of dryer would help a lot.... If it is a Maytag you can try resetting the code...
To reset the error code you need to turn the dial to the 6 oclock position.
Press the start button 3 times
Turn the dial 1 position clockwise
Press start button again 3 times
Then turn to off and this should clear the error code.if you still get the F07 error code then the control board may be the problem
If it is a Hot point You have a lower element failure..

You will nee The error code E68 is a stuck button error code. I recommend checking each button to make sure it loose in the plastic console. The button should rock side to side a little bit. If all the buttons are loose you can try to reset the unit control by unplugging the dryer for two minutes. If the error code comes back you will need to replace the unit control.

After just now calling the service center it seems that unplugging the machine for 30 seconds or so will reset the control panel. The F 40 code means the signal wasn't working in the machine and resetting it solved the problem. Kind of like when you have to unplug the computer sometimes.

Check you circuit breaker. Even if it doesn't look tripped reset it anyhow. This is a power interrupt code.

This code is for a part called a "Thermistor". Its like a thermostat for an electronic machine.
