You won't find a manual for that small telescope --- however Meade probably has one similar to yours-- go here and download a manual for free-

SOURCE: Need a manual/instruction booklet

You will not find a manual for that small telescope. However Meade maintains a web site with all their manuals.

Look under REFLECTOR for one similar to your telescope. They all work and assemble in the same way.

No one has a manual for that small telescope-- it's imported fropm overseas.

Here is a link to all of TASco's manuals-- find one that is similar to your telescope and use it.

WE have an Australian Geographic Telescope Model 60800. We can look through the telescope prior to putting the lens on and everything is the right way up. As soon as we put the lens on, everything is...

Without a porro-prism or a erect image diagonal, all telescopes show a reversed image. This is normal. There is no up/down in space. If you want to use the scope for terrestrial viewing, see first sentence. Do not use a erect image accessory for astronomy since it reduces the contrast.

Can you tell me where i can buy an image erector, thanks

Yes, but it will probably cost almost as much as you paid for the scope:

here is one:
http://www.amazon.com/Celestron-Erect-Refractor-Schmidt-Cassegrain/dp/B0000665V4/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&s=electronics&qid=1283197941&sr=8-2

All astronomical telescopes show upside down images, it's normal. The erecting diagonal is only used for terrestrial day time viewing, of land objects.

How to use the parts

Put the small diagonal into the back of the telescope; then put the eyepiece with the largest number written on it into the diagonal. Practice focusing on a distant object during the day time.

Read my TIPS on my profile page. Call Galileo scopes for a manual here:

Tasco 40-076420 for terrestrial viewing

All astronomical telescopes show upside down images-- no up or down in space!

You can buy one of these to ERECT the image-- make sure you get the correct barrel size usually 1.25 inch although some of those TASCO scopes are .965 inch. Measure the hole--

Everything is upside down its an inexpensive national geogra childs telescope when you look thru it everything is upside down

Yes all astronomical telescopes are upside down! No up or down in space!

You can buy an erecting diagonal for about $45 from Orion Telescopes to use for terrestrial viewing.
