That Flashing Standby Light Indicates A Defect In Your Low Voltage Or High Voltage Power Supplies...

watch the blinking light---if a specific sequence like 7 blinks a pause and repeated endlessly that is a error code. It will not point to a specific part but will indicate where the issue might be.

Take it to repair shop

The flashing light is "Code" for diagnostics. Count the flashes before it pauses. Some Sony user manuals will have the answer in the troubleshooting section of the manual. If you don't have your manual,

standby light blink 7 times

go to turn tv on,hear a poping noise,once then tv standby lite blinks 3 times repeatily but no picture or audio.can you help me out with this thank you

do you have any audio? if you do the it's usually a fuse for the video circuit. if no sound no picture, then main fuse power supply out

The model number is KV-36FV15 and blinking is constant no pause

I get a black screen after power on...then a bright white light in the middle of the screen.Then the red light flashing and turns it self off.
