This set has a keyboard lock feature and it can be removed by pushing in the menu button on the front keyboard on the set for about10 seconds. This should take care of your problem. Reply to this post if you have any questions and I will respond.

I would suggest you try to find a universal remote that has an "input" or "source" button and program that one to your tv. By pressing the "source" or "input" button, it will change the input to the tv. I hope this helps! -Der Strom

Hi there! this is Kimberly Escobar with Dish Network Customer support, I just ran across your post and would like to help you out by providing you the information that can help get this issue resolved. To program the remote to your Viore T.V you can try code 738. What you would need to do is press and hold the clear T.V button located on the upper left hand corner of your remote (you will see all the other top buttons light up) then you will let go of the T.V button and enter the number 738 followed by the pound (#) key, notice you will see the clear T.V button flash 3 times. After this you can try the volume function and turning on and off your T.V. If it works you can try changing inputs on the T.V by pressing the T.V/Video button or Input button on the remote. Unfortunately we can't promise our remote will control all the functions on your T.V we also have this link available that you can as well find very helpful http://www.dishnetwork.com/SupportSection/remote-setup and you are more than welcome to also contact us directly. Thank you hope this helps.
