Check your owners manual. Sounds like a seal. best to let a dealer or quality repair shop do the fix.

SOURCE: Flushing knob on a C2 Theford cassette porta potti hard to turn

Hi! Spray blade which closes holding tank with silicone spray. Make sure spray goes under lip of sealing ring. Also spray around holding tank actuator knob allowing to penetrate underneath to shaft. Don't use a silicone grease as this will gum up the works. If you can't get hold of a light silicone spray try using household type silicone polish intended for furniture. Wipe off any surplus as only thin film required.

Probably the rotor has come to a stand still (carbonade). I suggest you will clean the rotor with an house-hold acid liquid (like the one for cleaning coffeemachines).

Try tapping on the opening in the bottom of the toilet, the valve that opens, with a broom handle while flushing to see if it has somhow gotten stuck. There is also a micro switch in the groove that the blade turn knob slids into, this could be bad as well as the pump may have been damaged, it is under the toilet roll holder. Here is a link to their repair site.

If the leak is from a compression joint at the water intake to the tank you can tighten it, and it may stop. you will need two spanners. do not over tighten, about 1 cm max turn or it may leak more. hold the nut on the tank side still when you do this. also check to see if the ball inside the tank is shuting off the water, it can be that this needs replaceing, but can be just ajustment of ball float nut is needed.

Where is fuse for thetford toilet cassette

This is quite difficult and fiddly. The fuse unit is situated above where the cassette gets inserted. Remove the cassette and at the top front left hand side you will see the wiring in the cavity. This will give you access to the fuse unit and reed switch. I am assuming the toilet won't flush. If this is the problem then the answer is above. If the problem is the light will not illuminate when full then it is the reed switch that needs replacing or by passing. Hope this helps.

My flush has stuck on, how can this be sorted.?

Close the Inlet Water valve to the Flush Tank.
Remove the lid on top of the Tank cover.
Check the link/chord connecting the flush knob and the Flush valve.
It might be broken.
Normally the Flush Tank lever, which is outside the Tank lifts the Flush valve at the bottom of the Tank.

How do you Clean out algae in toilet water holding tank

Walmart sell aglaecide for swimming pools and hot tubs. I'd use that first. After algae has died, scrub inside of tank lightly and flush a couple of times.

We have a thetford C200cs on the motorhome we have just bought (2003). No water seems to pump, & the blue flush button doesn't seem to work. Are there any instructions availabe? The fuse has been...

Red light is just a reed switch that turns on the LED when a floating magnet inside the cassette floats up (when the cassette is full) and switches on the reed switch thereby switching on the LED. It just tells you the cassette is full and you need to empty it.
I'd say either your button or electric valve is broken. All the button does is allow the electric valve to break the seal that allows water to flow from your onboard water system.
I'll assume that the water in the rest of your motorhome is working?
So check the switch first.
You can lever off the switch/LED panel and remove the square connector from the back of the button. Get a multimeter and set it to either Continuity or Resistance (Ohms). Place the connectors on 2 of the switch pins and press the switch (the switch is actually 2 switches with 4 pins, but each pair of pins is connected together) - if you get a beep (if multimeter on continuity) or low resistance reading (if on resistance) then the switch is working - if this is the case then it's probably the electric valve. If the switch is not working, then that's your culprit.
When you replace the connecter you can replace it either way round.
