How to activate youtube on my tv - Televison & Video

Sign in with a web browser:

Clear the cache on your tv and try to login to YouTube again with proper login credentials.

go to youtube in the top right of the page click sign in then create account answer the questions wait for the email then click on it to activate it and your good to go

You need to log on to netflix on your computer and go to your account and then go to activate device. Turn on your blue ray player and try to log on to netflix it will give you an activation code, then you just enter the code into your computer.

That's where you can do it, VIA the Google sign-in page. This is one way YouTube can verify your ID. If you don't have a Google account, create one, then sign in. Good luck.

Hi, go to "Settings", click on YouTube, click on "My YouTube" and you will get a code that you must activate at www.youtube.com/activate

Please note that YoutubeTV will request your permission to do the following:

"Manage your youtube account

View your Google Wallet and make purchases on your behalf

Perform these operations when I'm (you`re)not using the application"

I denied permission and cannot access my youtube account but I will not give them access to what they are requesting.

You can still use youtube though.

Further along with this issue: When I enter the account activation code from my LG in the box that asks for it. I get a screen that says among other things:

"YouTube TV is requesting permission to:
View your Google Wallet and make purchases on your behalf
Make purchases using your Google Wallet
Perform these operations when I'm not using the application"

Am I understanding correctly that YouTube wants to be able to use my credit cards on file with Google Wallet and buy things "on my behalf" and do so when I'm not using the application? What sort of things does YouTube want to buy for me without my knowledge? Can someone please help clarify this statement in the activation window. The way it is written now, I cannot and will not allow access to YouTube TV.
