My 32 inch RCA 32F531T, picture comes in and out, sometimes bounces adn gives me about 2-3 inch black bar at bottom of scree. Also, now it power up, the green power button flashes, but no picture, I turn it off and hear a popping. Plzzzz help me!

It sounds like your grandson found the "monochrome" setting in the menu on your remote. It may be in the "picture settings", "set-up" or "advanced" setting.
RCA Entertainment Series 32" Plus Gold, GEMSTAR, xbox ready has been in the shop twice so far. Transformer replaced and 6 months later the picture suddenly had horizontal white lines that gradually spaced apart more from top to bottom and it had a gray hue and fuzzy, but I still watched it for 3 months that way. Today I turned it on and about a minute later I heard a loud crackling sound coming from the back and the picture disappeared, screen went black. Is it worth fixing again? pull the ac plug for about 5 min and start your set up again paying atention to the features you want and don;t.set the menu to suite your requirements.
Isolate filament voltage from CRT,i.e. unplug
Crt socket from pix tube.Measure filament voltage on CRT PCB.If present,suspect bad pix tube.If missing,solder any/all connects in
filament circuit,meaning CRT board first then
main PCB.
