Actually someone has tried to sign in to ur id with wrong passwords several times, so yahoo has blocked ur id for security purposes. u can simply unlock ur id.ur sign in to messenger is locked but u can acess ur mail. sign in to ur mail and go it to ur account details. change ur password. if u wanna keep these password then change password once and then change them to current password. ur id is now unlock.

Dear Please please go to page http://login.yahoo.com or http://www.yahoo.com/r/m6 then put you user id and click login ....it will come another page with blank user id box....blank password box...and blank captcha verification box....please put the everything as well as captcha word correctly....and click sign in ...if your user id and password with wordvarification as shown on image are correct you will be unlocked.....thats all have a good luck....

How can i unlock my yahoo messenger account?
It seems some problem with your account.

I would suggest go to
http://mail.yahoo.com
Try to sign in and see what happens.

If you are able to sign in on the website and you can access your email box. It is clear that your account is fine.

If you are unable to sign in on the mail website and it gives the same error. Then just wait for 24 hours, it will be unlocked.
It is not your fault some time people try to break in to your account and account is locked due to security reasons.

Locked or de-activated?

If it de-activated, then go to yahoo mail,give ur e-mail address when ask for activation.Are you getting de activation message?
if so, then easy to activate by following the instruction.

If you have get the message that "your password has been changed"
then it is a perfect hacking.

do:

turn off the pc and run the scan disk and try again.

Still you are having problem , then seek the help of customer care.
