If the lights on your Technogym Recline Bike 500 turn on but the other settings on the display do not work, there could be a few possible causes for this issue. Here are some troubleshooting steps you can take:
Check Power Connection: Ensure that the bike is properly connected to a stable power source. Double-check the power cord connections and ensure that they are securely plugged into a functioning 220V power outlet.
Power Cycle: Try turning off the bike and unplugging it from the power source. Wait for a few minutes, then plug it back in and turn it on again. This can help reset the system and resolve any temporary issues.
Check Display Connections: Verify that all cables and connectors related to the display are securely connected. Inspect the connections for any signs of damage or loose connections. Ensure that the cables are properly inserted into their respective ports.
Reset the Console: If the issue persists, try resetting the console or display unit. Refer to the user manual for your Technogym Recline Bike 500 to find specific instructions on how to reset the console or perform a factory reset. Typically, this involves accessing the settings menu on the display and selecting the appropriate reset option.
Software Update: Check if there are any available software updates for your Technogym Recline Bike 500. Visit Technogym's official website or contact their customer support for information on firmware updates. Updating the software may resolve any known issues or bugs affecting the display functionality.
Contact Technogym Support: If the above steps do not resolve the issue, it is recommended to contact Technogym's customer support directly. They have access to specific troubleshooting steps and can provide further guidance based on their knowledge of the Recline Bike 500. They may be able to diagnose the issue remotely or recommend further solutions.

When necessary to immobilize the treadmill, set display to read SELECT A WORKOUT. (Press the STOP Key twice if not already there). Then hold down the SPEED DOWN Key and press the STOP Key. The treadmill now displays IMMOBILIZED. In this state, the treadmill cannot be operated. The main motor and incline are disabled. The treadmill will remain in this state across resets, power cycles, etc. To restore normal operation, repeat the same key sequence: hold down the SPEED DOWN Key and press the STOP Key. The treadmill will display SELECT A WORKOUT again.

I would strongly consider replacing the microwave oven, prices have dropped considerably. The problem you are describing is in the keypad controller board.
sounds like the keypad is not functioning since this is one of their older model I recommend call Life fitness and see if parts are available their # is 1-800-351-3737 they will probably will ask for a s#
You should check your battery-it must be putting out at least 6 volts to get the computer started up-depending on the era there will be a battery near the bottom frame-you will need to remove on of the side covers to reach it-
