My washer washes but dosn't drain or final spin

Hi

If the washer is not draining then it is due to a clogged drain pump, drain filter or a kinked drain hose. Clean the drain hose, inspect if the drain hose is plugged. Also check the connection to the drain pump and make sure wiring is fine. Check the electrical connections with a multimeter. If it still doesn't work then you would need to replace the drain pump. the drain pump is not working,after wash cycle the washer should drain the used water,if it does not function-all the next cycle will not commence.

Sounds like your drain is laying on the floor, or your stand pipe is too low, or the drain hose is too far down in the stand pipe. The drain must be at least as hi as your water level in the machine at it's fullest level, otherwise it will just siphons out almost as quickly as it fills.

Check the drain pump it may be clogged or not working. This is a common problem i have working at a camp with 15 washers.

possibly debri in your pump you should need no tools the face twist off and comes apart.your catch could be clogged too.

If washer hums when it should spin, and the washer will not drain, you may have 2 issues.
First check that the drain pump, drain hose, and wall drain are free of debris.
The washer may not spin properly if the drain system is not operable.
Once you are sure the washer drain pump, drain lines, wall drain, and drain hose is okay, run a test wash.
If the washer hums but now drains, you fixed one issue.
If the washer still hums, you may have a bad belt, motor coupler, motor itself, etc...
Check parts for wear and replace as necessary.I pulled the drain impeller and found a sock from my little guy stuck in there. Fixed!
check all water outlets to make sure there is nothing blocking the pipes.

Have a GLTF2940. Error code E20 and E30 came up. Will not drain and spin.
What to do?

Check your exit hose spigot, it may be clogged. This is if your filter is all clean. (consult your manual to know where/how filter is cleaned). There should be air for passage in the standpipe behind. Your hose should not fit airtight into the standpipe and neither too deep into it. Snaking out your standpipe would be good too.

Check your outlet filter, most likely it is blocked, preventing the water from draining out. Chk your pump too. Before this disconnect from the wall socket; and also check the pipe coming from the tub to the filter. Siphon out the excess water from inside the machine before you open the pipes.
