Want to convert my son's delta crib into a toddler bed

Most convertible cribs are made to function as a standards crib, a toddler bed and a FULL size bed headboard.

If you have access to the specific model number you can go to the following link and download the user manual for the specific crib you have. The manual should explain the conversion options for the bed.

To convert the crib to a toddler bed, you just remove the drop down side.

what brand and model number of crib/bed is it?

I have the same crib and the instructions are on the bottom of the mattress board. Mine states to remove one side to make it into toddler bed.

I have the same crib and it can be transformed into a toddler bed by removing the front rail and it can be transformed into a full size bed using a full size bed frame and the front and back rails of the crib.

that means it does turn into a toddler bed and the instructions for mine are also printed on the bottom of the support board for the mattress try flipping it over and see if your's does too

I understand your frustration as I have put many children's toys, cribs etc. together over the years. It appears that the extra piece that you will need will be a twin bed frame. It is not included.

Try calling the customer service number (212)-645-9033. I have not called them yet to get the conversion rails for our Delta Luv 5 in 1, but I'm hoping that they will know more than Babies R Us!!
