I had the same problem - replaced the battery of my Nike Triax Fury and the time was blinking and none of the buttons were working. Turns out that you need both springs placed in the proper spot - the silver and gold springs. Both springs can be placed in their proper spot with the batter in. The gold one goes in the tiny hole near the "view" spot, and the silver spring goes year the 'cage' that holds the battery in place accross from the gold spring. Click on "all models" you can scroll down to find yours.

It is unlikely that any hardware store will have the size of screw that you need, since watch screws tend to be much smaller than are generally available.

The best place to go is a watch shop. They should be able to get it replaced for you.

Go back to the supplier and he should replace the watch or get you the missing part.

I had the same problem. The seller told me to reset the watch by pressing down on all four buttons at once. Sure enough, the backlight function was enabled again.

You must Re-Link the SDM pod to the watch after changing the battery. Go to the link below, It's not the exact model, but, should work, if not, go to www.nike.com and download the manual for your model.
