I have a computer system that has multiple discs.I used Acronis disk director suite 10 to partition and format these discs. My problems is I set up a 72GB primary partition on a 1TB hard drive, the rest I set up as a logical drive. On the primary partition I installed Windows Xp.I set up the OS with all the software I use it was fine for a couple of days then it would spontaneously restart.I tried to do an image backup of the OS using Acronis True Image Home 10, but was told the disc was unreadable because of Bad Sectors.I did a CHKDSK a found many many errors.I thought that the problem was a failing disc so I then set up the OS again using the same Acronis software on another disc. Now I have exactly the same problems occuring.I have no idea what's going on.
Acronis seems at fault here.its better to keep one partion per harddrive.that way it is't jumping around as many times.use xp to do the partions and see if that works.also make sure *********** board can support the drives terrabyte capacity.also instead of useing the disk defragmenter built in xp use jk defrag it is alot better.you don't even have to install it just unzip and use.can even use off of a flashdrive.if you got any question feel free to email me at [email protected]
