Am unable to help with your machine but you can purchase a stand-alone bobbin winder called Sidewinder for about $30. Just be sure to verify that your machine bobbins will work on it. The one I have will use either a power cord or batteries. Great little machine because it saves wear-n-tear on the machine plus you can wind bobbins without unthreading the machine.
You can usually find a manual to your model on-line or through your local dealer/repair man. Most commonly the light bulb is under a cover held on by a screw at the front of the machine. I took the bulb with me to the store to find the exact replacement if you don't have a manual that tells you what the replacement is.
The reverse lever is attached to a cam that moves the feed mechanism. Most likely the attachment to the cam is disconnected or the cam is slipping on the shaft.
if your sewing machine has a button hole lever, then the button hole function will not work until the lever is pulled down. it to the right of needle I'm including a link for a manual hard copy or download, they cost different prices http://www.sewingpartsonline.com/instruction-manual-simplicity-sw240.aspx
when you say bobbin switch do you mean that there is a switch to turn the bobbin on to start winding? or do you have to move the spindle that the bobbin goes on? It sounds like the disengage for the bobbin is stuck in place and won't let the machine run which would need a tech.
