log in on the paypal site , click on my account
click on password click on edit follow the instructions to changing password
save changes and exit
make the password at least 10 characters long using upper and lower case and numbers if permitted
write you password down somewhere handy and when you have to use it click on remember me when you use paypal to pay

In this case you can try a reset of your password using your email address for PayPal.

If you know your current password, you can change it from your PayPal account profile page. Here's how:

1. Log in to your PayPal account..
2. Click Profile at the top of the page.
3. Click Change beside Password/Security questions.
4. Select Password.
5. Click Edit. You may be required to confirm your account information.
6. Enter your current password and your new password.
7. Click Save.

If you do not know your current password, you can create a new password by confirming your identity. Here's how:

If you would like to change either your password or your security questions and you remember your current PayPal password:

1. Log in to your PayPal account.

I just did it last night. Attempt to log in with the email you use with papal. Then click on the I forgot password link. It will send you a verification code. cut-n-paste the code into the box on paypal and it will then ask for a new pw twice.
