SOURCE: Mixer not creaming butter and sugar...

make sure you are using the right attachment. usually for batters you want to use the flat beater. not the dough hook. the flat beater looks like a triangle with lines through the center. and make sure you are using the correct speed on the mixer. start out at stir and then go up to no more than half speed. these mixers take a little longer to incorperate batters but they do a very good job at it. if the batter is thin enough you can try using the wisk as well. but only if it is a thin batter.

SOURCE: Does anyone know the model number of a stainless

The model number doesn't really exist other than the fact that the stainless steel bowl is available for just about every Chef made. My own KM300 has a stainless steel bowl for example that came as standard - it however is the same bowl you can order from Kenwood or EBay under the A701/A901 model - all bowls from Kenwood can be fitted on the Chef model with the exception of the Major model which is a larger and taller machine.

Beater on Kitchen Aid stand mixer doesn't touch bottom of bowl

Why would you raise the beater if you want it to reach the bottom of the bowl? You need to lower the beater. Turn the screw in until it just touches with empty bowl on high speed then turn it counter clockwise a 1/4 turn so it will just clear.

Kenwood KM300. How to fit new mains cable ?

Having done it the hard way (!) it is dead easy. All you need is a small screwdriver or similar, approx 2mm by 1mm in cross section. Looking from outside the mixer, where the power lead enters the main body, between the rectangular lead casing and the socket it enters, there is a small rectangular cutout (top right). Push your screwdriver in around 15mm, and then withdraw the lead housing with it - the screwdriver pushes the latch aside, hence you need to remove both as one! With luck, and a wiggle or two, that should be it.

I have a cream making attachment for my kenwood . how do i use it your problem?

I had one of these many years ago and, whilst I cannot remember the proportions, you warm the milk and the butter (unsalted!) very gently until the butter just melts (or melt the butter separately and add to the milk). Then put it through the machine. I seem to remember you often had to make two or three passes to get all the butter and milk to combine.
I guess that the proportions of milk to butter are quite flexible depending on what sort of cream you want. I'd try small quantities till you get the required result. Start with one part butter to 2 to 4 parts milk by weight.

I was making a standard cake with my kitchenaid and in the middle of creaming butter and sugar together, it stopped working. Turned it off, switched plugs, let it cool down, etc - it won't turn on now and...

either the electrical motor brushes are worn down on the motors commutator and can no longer contact the motors commutator bands,or if its a newer style mixer the triac that controls the speeds on the unit could have opened up and can no longer supply variable or even high speeds

Hi sometimes, its not the motor, maybe its the speed control, in this model same A701 its centrifugal system, if the capacitor or resistor not working fine, give this smell . you must give your Kenwood for repair or check

How do I remove and refit a motor to my KM300?

What you need is a service manual which is difficult to get for any Chef regardless of the KM300. Ive got a KM310 model but the user manual is similar to this if it helps:
