I have set-up a new employees voicemail.
- Yes, I have confirmed that the system kknows that a phone is on his extension.
- Yes, the status is set to "record."
Teh problem is that when we have our auto-attendant on and some one uses the dial by name directory, they do get transeferred to the correct extension, but the voicemail is not picking-up; but when the receptionist answers the call and TRANSFERS the caller into the new employees mailbox...the voicemail picks-up...HELP!!!
If you go into system admin in voicemail, you have to edit the mailbox and give it a name.
intercom 777, 0#, 123456#, 9, 4 (mailboxes) enter the mailbox number and follow prompts to change the name.
