How to keep a cell value constant?

Sequencing is a formula =A1+1. If you insert a cell you can re-s
equence by doing a autofill in the column that contains the sequence number.
i.e.
Cell A1 value= 1
Cell A2 =A1+1 (value will be 2)
If you auto-fill the entire column will sequence:
=A2+1 (value will be 3)
=A3+1
etc.

To get around this, you can calculate your numbers as percentages first. For example, if you type the formula =10/100 in cell A2, Excel will display the result as 0.1. If you then format that decimal as a percentage, the number will be displayed as 10%, as you 'd expect.Aug 2, 2011

Excel simply divides the values in column C by the total in C11. For the formula shown, the result is the decimal number .63. Because the Percentage number format is applied to cell E6, Excel displays .63 as 63%.

Sorry, but there is nothing wrong with the exponential notation on your calculator. There is however a misunderstanding from your part on the priority rule of operations.
The sequence 0.030377/6.022x10^23 is interpreted as (0.030377/6.022)x10^23 while you wanted 0.030377/(6.022x10^23), dividing by Avogadro's Number.

How to fix it. Enter the power of 10 exponent (10^23) using the EE key. In other words Avogadro's Number should be typed in as 6.022 [EE]23. If you do not have the EE key you must use parentheses to enclose the whole number (6.022x10^23) or use the division key twice /6.022/10^23
On a calculator a sequence a/bxc where both operations have the same level of priority is executed from left to right.

For integer powers of 10 you can use the EE shortcut. [2nd][,] displays E.
For non-integer values of the exponent (such as -5.34) you must use the key sequence [2nd][LOG] (10^x) then enter your negative non-integer exponent.

Hi I dont really have much to do with Excel as I essentially build and repair and install, gosh I still type with two fingers!! Now below I have provided a link to Microsoft . If your calculator has the capabilities to do constant calculations here is how you perform calculations with a constant.

1. Enter the constant (4)
2. Press the operation key (/) once.
3. Press the operation key (/) a second time.
4. Your calculator may show a k in its display (LCD)
5. To divide a number by 4, enter the number and press =
6. To divide another number by the constant (4) , Enter the number and press =
7. Keep entering the dividends and pressing =

this is done through formulas. You write them in relationship to one another. Say you put a value into B1 then you write a formula for c2 like =SUM(A1/2)which means the sum of A1 divided by 2. or you can say make a formula that is like this =SUM(A1/C1) which means the value of A1 divided by the value of C1.

put 1-100 numbers, one in each cell in Ms Excell and apply auto sum.

I'm summing the range of numbers and dividing that by the count of nonzero numbers. With this formula, you'll get an error if there are no nonzero numbers.

suppose ur number is at cell B2 with any value. lets say u want formula in A3. then A3 =*b2*3/4 to round back the A3 to full number the simpliest solution is to change cell formatint to NUMBER and set the decimal places to 0.
