My Hamilton Beach slow cooker stopped going to keep warm after time was up, model 33966C

If your Hamilton Beach slow cooker model 33966C is no longer switching to the "keep warm" setting after the cook time is up, there could be a few possible causes:
  1. The thermostat may be malfunctioning. The thermostat controls the temperature of the slow cooker and if it's not working correctly, it could prevent the slow cooker from switching to the "keep warm" setting.
  2. The timer may be malfunctioning. The timer controls the cook time and if it's not working correctly, it could prevent the slow cooker from switching to the "keep warm" setting after the cook time is up.
  3. The heating element may be malfunctioning. If the heating element is not working properly, the slow cooker may not be able to maintain the correct temperature to switch to the "keep warm" setting.
  4. The lid may not be properly sealed. If the lid is not properly sealed, heat may be escaping and the slow cooker may not be able to maintain the correct temperature to switch to the "keep warm" setting.
It is recommended to try to unplug the slow cooker for a few minutes and then plug it back in to see if that solves the problem. If the problem persists, it may be best to contact Hamilton Beach customer service for further assistance or to have the slow cooker repaired or replaced.

Why doesn't timer count down correctly?

The timer will only start counting down when your pressure cooker has reached FULL pressure. Maybe it has SOME pressure but for some reason the cooker cannot reach the needed temperature. First, remember that this step can take up to 20 minutes, more if the food inside is frozen. Also, take a look at the pressure cooker trouble-shooter to find out if it is an equipment or recipe problem:

Does not cook. Why does it keep reverting to warm mode?

The pressure cooker either does not contain enough liquid or the liquid is too thick for it to reach and maintain pressure. Don't pressure cook condensed soups, jarred sauces (salad dressings, tomato sauce, etc) and flavor packets. They all contain thickeners that prevent the liquid in the cooker from boiling, making steam and generating pressure.

Don't worry, there are lots of great pressure cooker recipes that don't need those kinds of ingredients:

Cuisinart cpc600. What is causing erratic operation?

The recipe in it does not contain enough liquid, or the liquid is too thick, for it to reach and maintain pressure. Since the heat-up time to pressure is taking too long the cooker is shutting off.

Use tested, reliable recipes without condensed soups, flavor packets or jarred sauces. Don't worry, there are plenty!

Turn on oven cleaning, but clean indicator stops after few seconds

hello

what this need is to set the reprograms

here are solution below

You can set the timer on a Corning ware slow cooker to automatically switch to a warming setting when you estimate Foods will finish Cooking The programmable features allow you to leave food stewing at home while you are out of the house, freeing up your day. Set the timer on a Corningware slow cooker to let the kitchen appliance do all the Work, and come home to a fully cooked meal.

  • Fill the insert of the Corning ware slow cooker with food and cover it with the lid. At least a quarter of the insert should be filled with liquid to keep the environment moist during long cooking times.
  • 2 Press the "On/Off" button on the left side of the electronic control panel in the front of the appliance. This will turn on the slow cooker to the low heat "Warm" setting.
  • 3 Press the "Cook Time" button on the right side of the electronic control panel to add hours to the timer which will show a total time in hours with a red digital display. Continue to press the button until the display indicates the desired cook time in one-hour increments up to 10 hours. The cooker will automatically adjust the temperature setting based on the amount of time you programmed on the timer. Cooking times of six hours or less automatically start on "High" heat and times of seven hours or more will start on "Low" heat. A small indicator light will come on below the word to tell you the cooking temperature.

  • hope this hope ?

Steam is coming out from the floating lock pin but the timer is counting down. should steam be escaping while cooking under pressure?

Yes, otherwise the cooker would blow up from the pressure. This was a common problem with pressure cookers used on a stove from many years ago. Hope this helps!
