After clearing the jam (instructions in manual) remove the paper and turn front to back and put back in. There is a weave to the paper and it can effect the paper handling of the printer.

Hi Good day!! here are the steps how to remove paper jam in brother hope it help's you!!
1. Pull the paper tray completely out of the printer.

3. Press the cover release button and then open the front cover.
4. Pull out the drum unit assembly. Pull the jammed paper up and out of the printer. If you cannot remove the drum unit assembly easily at this time, do not use extra force. My photosmart 2575 jams everytime paper is loaded. I've cleared the jam, and made sure there is no paper stuck, but it loads 1/2 a new sheet then stops and says there is a paper jam. Anyone know how to fix...

it might be the problem with the rollers which is trying to garba teh paper ... try to clean the rollers at the back of the printer with a dry cloth ... if still you face problem its better to get the printer exchanged with an upgrade model by calling 1-800-HPINVENT

Paper jam in Lexmark printer

First turn the printer off then back on:

1 Make sure:
• You use paper designed for inkjet printers.
• If you are using photo, glossy, or heavyweight matte paper, you load it with the glossy or printable side facing
you. (If you are not sure which side is the printable side, see the instructions that came with the paper.)
• The paper is not used or damaged.
• If you are using specialty paper, you follow the instructions that came with it.
• You do not force paper into the printer.

2 Before loading paper, slide the paper guides out toward the edges of the paper support.

3 Load the paper vertically in the center of the paper support, and adjust the paper guides to rest against the edges
of the paper.

Note: To avoid paper jams, make sure the paper does not buckle when you adjust the paper guides.

Printer jams

i suggest that you replace the feed rollers, cleaning them automatically tells you that they are worn. They should be tacky to pick up the paper, not matter what type.
