SOURCE: serial number problems 1t0-003815

It is a YZ80D 1977...first link below is a Yamaha VIN cross reference if you want to verify. (a lot of scrolling)

As your VIN is only 9 digits, this indicates a pre 1982, when a universal 13 digit VIN was adopted, then soon after our current 17 digit VIN.
(please note: I'm assuming the VIN is from the plate on frame and not the crankcase serial number as engines are easily swapped)

Second link appeared amongst a search and indicates a 1992 model. This may be the basis of the problem your encountering.

Third link is a Yamaha decoder I've used successfully (17#) try it or check the Yamaha Corp. link therein.

Cheers.

SOURCE: need to no year make and model of trek bike bye

Hi

Trek's serial numbers are on the underside of the bottom bracket. Flip the bike over and read the letters and numbers. It will look like this :

9000697000480

This would be a Trek 9000, made in June 1997 and number 480 off the production line.

Hope this makes sense and you can decipher your bike. Vote for me if this helps, thanks.

I have a bike i beleave to be an 1984 haro but im not shur. so heres the serial number 87018003

Google "haro serial number" or ask at a bmx site, but it's not important what year it is for repair parts. Model, having original equipment, and cosmetic/mechanical condition are all more important than exact year as far as resale value.

WHAT TYPE IS MY HARO BIKE FRB175 SERIAL #K10JQ00336

What type? Haro bikes are BMX bikes. If you mean model, try posting multiple pics of the bike/components on a BMX specific site. I know of no way to ID a Haro model (or most bikes) by serial number.

F2P7D1359 is the serial number of my haro bike , id like to know what kind it is and maybe a average price range?

You already posted what kind it is in the previous question - "Haro bicycle F2 freestyle series." An average is a single number, a range is two numbers, so there's no such thing as an average range. Nobody here can give you info based on a serial number. I already gave you a way to research what year you have, but year is not terribly important for value. You can also try this site to look at specs for different years of the F2 in order to determine what year yours is: http://knowyourbike.com/haro/f2
Price depends on mechanical and physical condition, the size of your city/town, and the desirability of the particular bike, thus can vary by a huge amount, so an average price is useless. Research, decide on a price, advertise on Craigslist or bulletin boards, and if nobody bites then the price is too high.

I would like to know the year and model of my Haro bicycle F2 freestyle series , serial # F2P7D1359 thank you , please help

You just stated the model. As for year, it's not that important, but all you have to do is Google Haro serial number to find some potential assistance. You can also post a pic on a BMX site, as almost all bikes have different paint/decal schemes for different years.

Haro mountain bike t-6/606/serial no.d240031084

Price and value of a bike are based on more than a serial number. The main variable is condition but color, tires, number of gears and type of seat are also considerations. Look on ebay for a Haro mountain bike, chances are there is a bike like your listed for sale.

Haro mtb 24" bent frame

If this is the bike you are referring to
Haro Bikes MTB Bikes kids Flightline 24
It looks like it is possible that the slot that the axle bolts into the bike is almost vertical. On some bikes the derailleur side has a .piece of metal which when you pull the tire tight in the slot it will pull the wheel crooked. If this is the case on this bike, pull the axle all the way back on the derailleur side and then center the tire in the frames both top and bottom, then tighten bolts. Make sure there is enough metal under the bolts to properly anchor the axle to. The bolt should clamp down on metal all the way around with the exception of the slot in the frame. Good Luck!
