How to reset hp printer laser-jet 600m 602 maintenance kit

1. Press the Home button on the printer's control panel.
2. Open the "Administration" menu.
3. Select "Manage Supplies".
4. Select "Reset Supplies".
5. Select "New Maintenance Kit".
6. Select "Yes" to reset the maintenance kit counter.

Clearing the Maintenance Count and Service Message: HP LaserJets
If the display panel on your HP LaserJet reads "Perform Printer Maintenance", "Perform User Maintenance", "Maintenance Kit Low", "Maintenance Kit Very Low", or anything along those lines it means your printer needs a preventative maintenance kit, which includes a fuser and various rollers. Once you have installed the maintenance kit the message will only go away if you clear the maintenance count.

whether your printer is a clj1600 or lj4300 the problem lies in the same area- the fixer/fuser unit- this will need replacing - either order a maintenance kit or fuser kit for your machine then follow the packaged instructions to replace the faulty unit

First make sure it is the correct fuser for that printer. Turnthe printer off. Now turn the printer on and when the memory starts to count inthe display, hold and keep holding the green check mark button on the rightuntil all three lights come on solid. Release and use the down arrow to scrollto New Maintenance Kit and hit the check mark button. Hope this will help you.

It sounds like you need to do preventive maintenance ( cleaning of laser unit, copy optics, replace transfer and everything that is in HP PM KIT )

Indicates that fuser is not cycling properly. Usually caused by a failed fuser. If your page count is anywhere near 200,000 pages, your best bet is to purchase a maintenance kit which will come with a new fuser, as well as the feed/separation rollers.

Install a Maintenance Kit and reset the counter. This is a general maintenance message.

I do recommend a maint. kit ( p/n # C4118A). to clear the maint. messsage, turn the printer on while holding down the left item and left -value key, when you see reset maint. let go of the keys..
