What wiring should i check to get volvo penta gxito startmotor,or what could be the problem

Kind of sounds like the trailer switch is in control. Many of these switches have lockouts and if you move the outdrive past the trip point the other solenoids are dead. Watch fingers. There may be a tilt switch on the water side of the transom in the pivot housing.

SOURCE: 1985 bayliner capri 2.1L volvo penta aq125b. I replaced plugs,wires,no external required 12v ignition coil. I cleaned the points and gapped them .020 I checked all the fuses they are good need help

Take one spark plug out, connect it to its wire and lay it visible on the engine, press the starter and see if there is a spark.
No spark; check if there is power to the ignition coil, if power there, coil is bad.
