SOURCE: hotpoint condenser tumble dryer aquarius cdt00- wont dry
I am not familiar with this particular unit, but I have a condensing dryer (Malber) which pumps out the water by itself. I am guessing that your unit requires you to empty a bin manually. Even if the bin is empty, I think the unit thinks it needs to be emptied and that is why the dryer will not work to give you hot air. If you do have such a bin, it might have a weight switch which the unit uses to detect if the bin needs emptying. See if the weight switch is working. The same weight switch idea is used on dehumidifiers.
SOURCE: hotpoint ultima tumble dryer error code f-03
i have a hotpoint ultima ctd80 which i have had the last 2 years, it has shown error codes f11, f10 and f15, every time i fix this problem by first switching off and unplugging appliance then removing small cover from back (middle with 2 screws) then larger panel that the smaller panel overlapped. once you remove these you will see the heating elements, remove the 2 screws at the back off this, remove cover carefully then at the top you will see two things (not very technical lol i am a woman), with a pin press the pin in the one with a hole, mine makes a clicking sound when i do it, not sure if it meant to but works for me. put all parts back together and thats the job done. make sure both fillters and water emptied regular, hope this helps and saves you a fortune on call outs

SOURCE: HOTPOINT AQUARIUS CONDENSER TUMBLE DRYER CTD40
There are three water reservoirs - one at the bottom behind the condenser, a second at the back bottom of the machine and then a third at the top which is the one you would normally pull out to empty.
There is a hole at the bottom of the filter in the first reservoir (at the back of the condenser) which leads to the second reservoir at the back. If the hole gets clogged up with lint/muck then the reservoir at the back does not fill up.
So to solve this, unplug the machine, take out the condenser (front left bottom of the machine) reach through to the back and mop up the spare water with a towel and check that the hole to the back reservoir - you can feel this it is towards the right side at the back of the machine is clear from muck.
Once you have cleared it, water will flow to the second reservoir and then (once you switch on the machine) up to the main removeable reservoir at the top.
Hopefully this helps. GB

This could be a simple fix or more of a major task, so if you think you can have a go then great, first find tools and torch, empty any clothes, unplug from the power supply, disconnect vent if any, place unit on a table or bench then remove the back check for large quantities of fluff and dust, clean as much as possible, see if drive belt is secure and not damaged if this is not the case then the drum bearings may be worn, try to move the drum up and down, try the same thing from inside the door, as these dryers tend to wear front bearings quicker than rear ones, if excessive wear and you are confident, remove the drive belt and tensioner take note of the layout, remove supporting bracket at rear of drum taking careful note of where any nuts bolts are from, withdraw the drum you should now have access to all the bearings which are usually like a special plastic runners or ring, contact local supplier stating make and model number ask for a bearing kit, replace bearings and rebuild machine, all this could take up a few hours to a few days so ensure you can manage without a working dryer.............good luck
