My four generation classic 30gb ipod not able to switch on

First off make sure it is charged up,try plugging up to wall charger/or usb charger. If thats not problem & still wont turn on.you have to reset it by holding the TOP(up) button and the CENTER button at the same time to reset it. Hold both down until you see the apple logo appear & loading as soon as it loads up(give it a min) all will fine then & should play normally.

My Ipod 3rd gen. wont work other than when its pluged into the pc

Your battery is most likely dead to the point where it can no longer hold a charge, which is the reason that when you unplug it from the computer, it dies instanly. Batteries are pretty cheap going up to about as high as $25 and if you get it done at a ipod place, installation should not be that much.

When I charge my iPod Nano it charges fine but instead of turning off or ... it will turn off but in about 2 seconds it goes to the "Charged"

You need a new battery for your iPod. you can view a free instructional video on battery replacement at the first web address posted below. the second one is a cheap site I found for purchasing iPod parts.

Docking station

Hi!

I would suggest that you by-pass any docking stations and connect it directly via usb charger as most ipods do. And also, try to update Itunes and your Ipod Nano software.

Thanks and good luck! =)

My ipod shuffle wont play music

It won't play music while connected to computer, that's for sure. It only plays when it's disconnected from the wall charger and computer.

The songs could be in the wrong format
AAC is iTunes native format
Mp3 generally works
WMA is iffy - only unprotected (non-DRM) files will work
Streaming songs won't work

8 GB Ipod Nano went dead and now won't charge

does it work on the charger? if not, then contact apple or your dealer for more assistance or repairs.

If it works on the charger, plays music and so on, your battery is probably dead and you need a new one.

My iPod stopped playing through speakers- but only at work...

Esmurfette

First things First!
1) check on other speakers to see if your iPod work fine
2) check connector for loosing electric connectivity.
3) check with your headphones to see if your iPod play music well.
4) Check, power on the computer spk. you got. or the input that is working right.
Good Luck
